Mumbai citizens are being warned by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to be cautious when consuming street food as the city's summer heat continues to rise. This caution is in response to recent food poisoning occurrences that have sparked worries about the safety of food during the hot months. A 19-year-old guy passed away after consuming chicken shawarma at a neighborhood restaurant in Maharashtra Nagar, Mankhurd, according to Mumbai Live, while five other people were hospitalized for possible food poisoning. In Goregaon East, at least 12 people were admitted to the hospital last month after consuming chicken shawarma.
